HOW LONG WILL THE PROCESS TAKE?

The answer for this one is different for everyone. We know that answer is vague but there is no way to keep your treatment personalized and answer this question concretely. Many factors go into the the treatment process. Your goals and progress towards your goals largely determines treatment length. Some people only need a few sessions while others want to make treatment a regular part of their life. 

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE WITH IN PERSON SERVICES VERSUS VIRTUAL?

HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

The quickest and easiest way to get started is to use our booking system by clicking any of the BOOK NOW buttons. Simply select the service you want, and the provider, and the calendar will show your the available time slots.

If you prefer to speak with Nichole directly, you may call or email. However, we ask that you allow up to 48 hours for a response. 

WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER THERAPY?

Therapy and counselling is not yet funded by OHIP which means it is a pay out of pocket service unless you have extended health benefits. If you have extended health benefits, these services are usually covered under Registered Social Work (RSW) or Psychotherapy (RP). Please consult your benefits coverage including benefit limits and the title of the care provider (RSW or RP) to determine if you have coverage or will need to pay out of pocket. Our booking system collects payment by credit card and issues a receipt upon completion of the service. You will be responsible for submitting the receipt for reimbursement to your benefits provider. 

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

We understand that therapy is important to you and we also know that life happens. You may cancel or re-schedule your appointment without a cancellation fee 48 hours before your appointment. Within 48 hours, a 50% cancellation fee will apply to any cancelled or re-scheduled appointments. Less than 24 hour cancellations or re-scheduled appointments will be subject to a 100% session fee charge to the payment method on file. 

DO YOU DIRECT BILL INSURANCE?

At this time we do not offer direct billing. Once payment is received, you will automatically receive a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider. 

WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY?

When you submit an inquiry request or form on our website, your basic information is entered into our database and may be used to reach out to you at the time of inquiry for the purpose of service inquiry. Your information is kept confidential and in accordance with PHIPA. Regardless of services rendered, your information may be kept for a period of 7 years.

Our full privacy policy is given to each client upon intake or initiation of services. If you would like to see our privacy policy prior to this time, please reach out to the clinic directly and make a request.
